Special re-evaluation

Employing institutions are requested to make their input into the evaluation, by rating the applicant on the scale and making comments where appropriate. Refer to the
Definitions of rating categories and the Definition of research for more information.

Registration process
Each research institution needs to identify persons in its administration who will be responsible for processing applications once they have been signed off by the applicant. The Research Administration (Research Director or equivalent) must then register as an authorised signatory with the NRF.

.Special re-evaluation

Should a special re-evaluation be applicable, the designated research authority should complete a motivation for such a re-evaluation, after allocating a rating. More information on the special re-evaluation.
